Introduction

The Hong Kong Federation of Exceptionally Gifted is organized by a group of gifted students who share the same goal of driving the gifted education and contributing to the society. The founding gifted students are the members of the Support Measures for the Exceptionally Gifted Students of Gifted Education Section of Curriculum Development Institute from Education Bureau. The Hong Kong Federation of Exceptionally Gifted is a non profit-making organization which aims to:

1. to promote the cooperation, interaction and progress within members
2. to promote gifted education
3. to strengthen the bonding among members
4. to increase social awareness and recognition towards social responsibility of members
5. to encourage members to participate in charity work and to contribute in the society
6. to increase members’ participation in social issues
7. to cultivate members attitude towards China and the world

Constitution

Constitution is
1. The core of the operation of the federation
2. All the program run by the federation must not violate the constitution.
3. Members have responsibilities to read and abide by the constitution by themselves.

Emblem

Our Emblem use a tree-like design, symbolizing gifted students as seedlings will grow healthily under the nurturing of different parties in the society, to excellence.

The design also looks like a Chinese word, “出”, meaning that gifted students are the outstanding ones. The design also symbolize EG for exceptionally gifted.

“G” The dotted area represents the first alphabet in the word, Gifted.
HKFEG is the abbreviation of the name of our federation, and the color of the emblem gradually change from blue to green, symbolizing the pupil surpasses the master.
“E” The dotted area represents the first alphabet in the word, Exceptionally.
